betraying the sisterhood

Yup. I betrayed the sisterhood yesterday. I changed my name. I am officially Julia Nobel. And I gotta tell ya', when they asked me at the Driver's Licence place if I was going to hyphenate with my old name or simply assume the new one, I almost went with the hyphen. But no. I have acquired a new name. And I think I'm experiencing buyer's remorse.
