no church for me tonight

yup, i'm once again playing hooky from church (sorry, barb). i'm taking care of a sick little kitty tonight. i took her to the vet hospital this afternoon--quite the experience, let me tell you! my cat has only been in a car once before, and that was several years ago. other than that, she's never left our neighbourhood. so she definitely objected to being in her carrying case! two hours of constant meowing later we were finally on our way back home. actually, she's still meowing, and she's been home for two hours! hopefully she forgives me. i'll just have to bribe her with treats.
